If you buy a new home in Quebec, you may be eligible for a sales tax refund (p.4).<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n<\/li>\r\n<\/ol>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Support_for_culture_and_the_environment\"><\/span><strong>Support for culture and the environment<\/strong><span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>The law also makes the tax credit for major cultural donations permanent. This could encourage more people to donate to cultural institutions, helping to support arts and culture in Quebec.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>In addition, the law extends the tax credit for septic system repairs, which could help homeowners cover the cost of this work.
